The Charles Spurgeon Sermon Collection is home to over 3,000 sermons written by C.H. Spurgeon (1834-1893) over the course of his ministry in London during the 19th century.
These sermons are transcribed from manuscripts edited by my dear brother Emmett O'Donnell, to whom I owe much thanks for his work in creating the original documents that this collection depends on.
I am also indebted to the great work of many developers and designers whose technology allowed me to build this collection. Many thanks to the Jekyll project, the Google Web Fonts project and the Skeleton Framework. The source for this entire site can be found on GitHub.
Who is this Jesus Christ that Charles Spurgeon talks about over and over again?
There's so much to Jesus, my God and my Savior; if you got me started, I could easily go on for a hundred years (or more!). So, instead I've reproduced a summary from The Church at Brook Hills that says well what I believe about Jesus:
Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself human nature with its demands and necessities and identifying Himself completely with mankind yet without sin. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitutionary death on the cross He made provision for the redemption of men from sin. He was raised from the dead with a glorified body and appeared to His disciples as the person who was with them before His crucifixion. He ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where He is the One Mediator, fully God, fully man, in whose Person is effected the reconciliation between God and man. He will return in power and glory to judge the world and to consummate His redemptive mission. He now dwells in all believers as the living and ever present Lord.

Knowing who Jesus is is just the start. I hope and pray that as you begin to get to know who this Jesus is, you'll see how much he loves you and begin to fall in love with him yourself.
